Concept of Conducting a Spatial Analysis of Heat Consumptionand Supply in the City Of Maribor
KOMUNALNA ENERGETIKA / POWER ENGINERING, 9
Sustainable heating and cooling solutions are based on modern technologies and increasing integration of various sectors of energy consumption and energy production – buildings, industry, electricity generation, and transport. District heating and cooling systems enable integration of various sectors, thus allowing for efficient management of all available energy sources and sinks. When planning energy management in a local community, such solutions require a systemic approach based on thorough spatial analysis of the current state and future development. The paper introduces the concept of conducting a spatial analysis of heat consumption and supply by using geographic information system tools of the City of Maribor.

PLANNING NEW RES ENERGY FACILITY OF ENERGETIKA MARIBOR BASED ON HIGH EFFICIENT HEAT AND ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION
KOMUNALNA ENERGETIKA / POWER ENGINERING, 9
Advanced heat production center, based on high efficient heat production, which would consist of a set of production and combined heat and power systems (heat and electricity), will provide for the region's largest district heating system additional quota of heat generated from high-efficiency systems and renewable energy sources. The purpose of the center is to provide an optimized - real time heat production from renewable energy sources and combined heat and power production in line with real and momentary heat consumption of the system. Advanced center will include: • high performance, low-emission biomass boiler – 5 MW, • combined heat and power production system powered by natural gas – 2.3 MWe • high temperature heat pumps for the utilization of low temperature energy flows – 0.84 MW and • public learning center on biomass energy utilization and advanced energy systems for efficient use of energy.

NATURAL GAS IN TRAFFIC
KOMUNALNA ENERGETIKA / POWER ENGINERING, 34
The presentation is divided into seven sections, through which we intend to present the project of introducing natural gas to the transport. We will present functioning of the cars on natural gas, describe the latest technological solutions in this area, say a few words about the availability of such vehicles and present the advantages and disadvantages of them. After that we will present filling techniques from small scale stations for home use to professional public filling stations. A few words will be given to the newly-established brand, over which we have decided to sell and introduce natural gas in transport use. In the last part we will present our achievements and our short- and long-term plans in natural gas application to the transport market.
