GROUNDS FOR INTRODUCING PERMANENT CONTROL IN

Electricity consumers are becoming more aware of their rights regarding the quality of electricity. Distribution companies must take care of the uninterrupted supply of electricity, both in terms of ensuring the continuity of supplies and the compliance with the SIST EN 50150. New technologies, used by business users and by households, put distribution companies against new challenges and compel them to ensure the quality of electricity.
In Slovenia the standard EN 50160, which defines 13 parameters of quality of electricity, is used to ensure the quality of electricity and is described in the following paper.
